Announcing a New Partnership in the Netherlands!

Written by Dr. Jerry Stein

Learning Dreams is excited to announce our newest project with the Netherlands-based foundation Stadslink.

Stadslink is located in The Hague, the capital city of the province of South Holland, and is the seat of the government in the Netherlands. With a population over half a million, it is the third-largest city of the Netherlands, after Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The city’s name recalls the hunting lodge of the counts of Holland, which was located in a woodland area called Haghe, or “hedge.”

Both Stadslink and Learning Dreams are excited about this emerging partnership and are looking forward to collaboratively building communities that are rooted in new, innovative opportunities that allow people to pursue their dreams, in whatever form they might be.

Dr. Jerry Stein will visit The Hague in 2016 to participate in planning a pilot project.

“Stadslink sees Learning Dreams as a method that encourages the power of citizens; which creates a network of involved volunteers in the city, and that gives the next generation wings to develop their talents,” says Karen Bos, Stadslink Founder and Director.

Bos added that Stadslink was drawn to the Learning Dreams approach of strengthening families by supporting their dreams through ongoing connection and nurturing.
